why am I thinking of the GOP’s and trumps efforts to now label everybody and everything as ‘socialist’ – just because they want health care and clean air?
What I recall of 1961 is a lot of older boys in school with greasy styled hairdos kind of like what the resident of the WH sports. I really hated being stuck between those guys on the stairs at school. The smell of several brands of goop and pomade was overpowering. And no, I didn’t wear my hair like that.

The other guys look closer to beatnik style than baldy, who more closely resembles half the guys in tv/movie cop/military/spy shows.
