But he never meant Mexico would directly pay for the wall. He only said that. He said so. Does anyone else see a problem with that? If he says it, he doesn’t really mean it. Am I catching on or just losing what little mind I have?
Okay, if he didn’t mean it, how were we supposed to know he didn’t mean it? He said it over and over and over and over and over. He got his crowds to say it back to him. Is there some clue that we should be looking for when he says something that he doesn’t mean? For example, right now he says he wants 5Billion plus for the wall. Does he mean it? He also says he isn’t Putin’s puppet. Does he mean it? Maybe he really means that he is Putin’s puppet.
If Trump would just tweet out that the wall has already been built, all the essential sections, all Trump Disciples including Payne and alwaysright would believe it.
Of course, there would be some additional tasks, like having Fox “news” runs pictures of walls in deserts etc., and Trump would have to have Pence and Mnuchin claim that it had been financed by the inauguration slush fund and the NRA, or something like that. Maybe some contributions from Trump charities (His Disciples wouldn’t know the difference).
.
Trump Disciples would be all over these boards claiming that it proved that Trump always keeps his promises,
Even now, Shutdown Don doesn’t understand how trade works. Any increased fees collected under the Nafta replacement go to dedicated portions of the federal budget, not to a “Wall Fund.” Preventing foreign citizens from sending money to their families in foreign countries doesn’t enrich the US.
Trump is just screwy. This is more of his delusional “It’s all about me:” thinking.

Tariffs won’t pay for a wall, that isn’t how they work. In fact, now that Trump wants the wall to be made of steel, his tariffs have RAISED the cost.
