The GOP found that they left all their conservative values behind when they touched the third rail of the Southern Strategy. It has consumed them, the main tool they used to attract voters in the deep South, the racism and bigotry that got the base motivated, is all that is left of the party.
Can Mueller be building a case that can sweep both Trump and Pence off the board in one go? I have significant suspicion that Pence isn’t as squeaky clean as he seems to be.
