In the weather I think the snow has stopped, just a few inches. That’s OK, My dad told me that at this time of year, the new snow helps to rot the old snow. I can understand that, the new snow melts faster and the water trickles down through the old snow causing it to brake down and melt faster. Sounds good to me.
In other news: I head to Newport to see my eye doctor to see if I can see, see. (^.^) Eye better since I’m driving. ;-)
Up to 29 yesterday, and only down to 7 this morning. But supposedly it’ll get up to 20 later on, with only a small chance of precip.
I get to stay home today! Yippee! A whole day to do nothing (sort of).
Oh, my spine x-rays were “normal”. So the doc will schedule me for an MRI to compare to all the other tests I had last month. Don’t know when that will be.
Well we have a sunny 30 degrees and a predicted high of 44. Sure do like the sun and warmer temps. We are supposed to have several sunny days before the next storm comes.
Well, I have a cake to bake for my granddaughter, she will be 13 on Saturday and we will be celebrating tonight at our family diner.
We got snow around 10PM last night, probably about a half inch. I took some photos around 11 to show everything covered in white. There is still a bit of it on top of some of the bushes and the grass, but it is raining now so it won’t last long. The forecast for today actually says “light snow”. But it’s 36 with an expected high of 42, so I don’t expect much.
Smokey got out while I was taking pictures last night, and when Michael brought her in her fur was sparkling with snow. I got a pic of that, too.
We got our car back yesterday. Not bad, less than 2 weeks. They did a good job, you would never notice there was a problem. The insurance is paying almost $3000, not including our deductible.

Good morning Vagabonds.Well our snow storm started a few hours ago but hasn’t amounted to much.
It’s stopped for now and only left about 1 inch on the ground.
Now it’s supposed to turn to sleet and rain for a few hours.
Right now temp is about 30 but will be going up to the low 50’s.
That should help melt it fast.
Very little to do this morning so there should be no problem.
Another play it by ear day.
