Looks like we’ve got an extra 5 inches of snow overnight! Bad thing is I’ve got an early doctor appointment and have no idea when the roads will be plowed! I might have to re-arrange. We’ll have to wait for daylight to make that decision.
Our 17 year old NC GrandDaughter works at an upscale restaurant and gladly worked yesterday. The tips were very generous! Unfortunately, she and her friend dressed up, with high heels and all…….I can’t even imagine the pain they are in!
We too went out to dinner yesterday, but we went early (about 3:30). We got great service, but by the time we were done the place was packed and the service got a lot slower. We went to the Black Bear Cafe that is just around the corner from us. We usually walk, but it was pouring yesterday all day, so we took the car.
It’s still a bit cloudy, but the rain has stopped. It’s 46 outside now with a high of 56. We are supposed to get light rain again on Sunday, but should have sunshine before and after.
Well it is a cold 26 here this morning and the snow is falling and is expected to snow all day long, 33 days until, spring.
We had a pleasant diner with family last night. My grandson and I cooked the meal and I have to admit that is the best part for me. He is fun to cook with and he enjoys learning all the kitchen basics. Well on to plan B for the day as the snow has altered all my original plans.

Good morning Vagabonds.Going to have some light rain today but the temp is supposed to go to the mid 50’s.
That should take care of the remaining snow.
Another usual Fri., do some food shopping, go to church and get communion and take it to my home bound friend.
We went out to eat last night to celebrate Valentines day.
The place was very crowded, it looked like everyone else had the same idea.

Likely head out for Newport this morning and get a few things. Not much else happening.
