B) I’m always amazed how every year they come up with a new piece of exercise equipment.

Some of those exercise equipment is great. It’s general public who has high expecatations of lossing weight and disappointed when can’t be done. I have purchased from sales people don’t want and good units too. Those exercise units break down then I have to dump. I had one that tore up the back too much and trashed it. I have two I used and started noticing the difference. I know nothing will replace walking outside too cold for that. One I have is like walking not a treadmill.

Actually when you first start weight training, you make great gains, even if you are a hard gainer like I am, but after a while one is faced with the plateau effect.
