We are coming up on our state mandated testing in April. Not only does show what the students are supposed to know but it also establishes a grade for the individual school. In a state with school choices, the test really does become “high stake”.
Multiple-choice tests don’t work and learning how to get the best results instead of learning the subject is the worst way of (not) learning. Institutions and teachers only go with multiple-choice-tests because these are easier to assess and seem to be more “objective”. But, people remembering the correct answer when they see it are not necessarily able to speak, understand or translate in practice.

Computers often skip dots not completely darkened. Often happened during election tallies taken or read from such sheets.
