Good morning Vagabonds.Raining right now and will continue until the middle of the morning. Temp will be about 40.
Don’t know what I will do today.
I may go to the gym in the A.M. for awhile, do some shopping for a few items, go to the church and pick-up communion and then go home and have some coffee.
It’s about 10 minutes before sunrise, and boy are the clouds full of color! Out Standing!
Last minute packing to do, and then we’re off tomorrow. We plan on taking 5 driving days each way because of all the “walking” stops we have to take. Hope to see lots of new things that way.
We have Jack’s 5 1/2 week check up this afternoon. The incision is healing nicely, but all these new pains (ankle & knee) in his operated leg need some answers.
I’ll try to check in, but if y’all notice I’m not around much, you’ll know we’re having fun tickling the grandkids.
Rita, may you and Jack have a wonderful trip, both the “new” travel and the stay with family for Christmas.
I left church yesterday with a sudden craving for my grandmother’s pork noodle soup. So I stopped at the market to pick up what I needed, and they had pork loin roasts on a terrific sale. I got a $12 3 pound roast for less than $4! I spent less than $7 for the entire meal (plus leftovers). And the soup was delicious.
Today I really want to go over to the storage unit and get the Christmas decorations. It’s just over a week to go, and still the only decoration I have up is my nativity scene advent calendar. (At least I’ve been faithful to keep that up.)
