It is an irony that Mexico’s attitude as shown by Lalo has become “As in US” paranoid. Those makers of: mouths-to-feed, are welcome nowhere. Not Europe Not USA and not MXO. Hmm. All that farm implement making is either not being done well enough; or, our complimentary social educating about sex is not being done well enough; and, our medical education system isn’t sophisticated enough to see the good in people. It’s as though we have self interest blinders on to make sure we keep running in circles like a race horse, so others can Capitalize on our productivity. And yet; the only winners do seem to be the rich and the very poor. Add Christianity and the contradictions are so confusing they can make one “cray-cray”!
This is a truly sad situation! To think that that huge horde of people had the courageousness to embark on such a long and dangerous journey to find a safer and much more prosperous life while knowing full well there was no one really welcoming them. Because we have never felt driven to do such a thing…we seem to have no empathy towards their plight. Just what do you think we should be doing????
The world needs to have more deeper conversations about this plight. We want to have the freedom to follow our own hearts, to seek out a place where we can find gainful employment, to become better educated etc. etc. But, at the same time, we badmouth those who have found the guts to do just that.
This world can easily handle all these people. It is just a matter of all the wealthy people giving up the idea that they can buy and restrict vast segments of this counry or the world in general to further increase their own Wealth. They could train and employ these incoming people and expand the cities and towns to accept them. Our countries have done so before and could do so again.
OK DUH, I’ll bite, Since you used the word “our” I will assume english is your language of choice, America is your country… So what is …" medical education system isn’t sophisticated enough to see the good in people". I mean really…that doesnt make any sense. I dont get “complimentery social education” either. Complimentary means “free”, are you saying free sex ed in the US for those out of country?
