You forgot your comforts, Ruthie! You need a cot, an air mattress, a big tent with good screens, a good lantern, and a gas stove. We had vacations at Kentucky Lake, all of the Great Lakes, the Smoky Mountains, Canada from Quebec to Nova Scotia, Cape Hatteras, and many more that a large family couldn’t have afforded otherwise.
