I hope there is a Big Blue wave. Even lots of republicans feel shame over trump’s embarassing tweets and behavior. How we got a leader who takes babies and kids away from their mamas and put them in cages. He also promotes violence! Well, everyone Knows the things he does. His followers are just close mindedAnd don’t believe what they “see with their eyes or believe what they read, because he says it’s not real”. If he gets a 2nd term he will take his presidency for life. He has already mentioned that. Maybe the "wall will bother, Not to keep people out, but to keep the people in. That is what Nazi Germany did.

Winslow, your mistake is not recogniIng that the blue wave propaganda is coming from the communications arm of the Democrat party: the mainstream media. The fake news likes to push false narratives to help suppress some voters and encourage others. Some might call it meddling in the election. If they were fair minded.

Scott, when exactly did Maddow state that there would be a blue wave.

If you do a quote, remember to include the context.

    .

Otherwise, this one just becomes a Trump Disciple cartoon.

Too many people calling a “Blue Wave” it works only if enough people vote. I for one wish the Dems would stop with the Blue Wave BS and instead carried people to the polls to vote. Anything else is pure nonsense. Why? Because polls are not votes. You can lie to a pollster-I do all the time-and in the end its just sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Republican voters are voting for the policies that have restored the economy from the Obama years, and have restored the respect America lost during the Obama years; there is almost no affection for Trump other than his willingness to proffer those policies. Democrat voters, in sharp contrast, don’t seem to have any real understanding of the specific policies they support or oppose, and certainly their candidates are not talking about those; the “loyal” opposition is more like a cult.

^^Ah, the Trump Disciple analysis skills on display once again.

Obama’s horrible economic policies tripled the stock market while he was in office and the momentum continued afterward.

And the U.S. is now seen as a stooge by Russ-e-a and an accomplice by Sawdi Arabia.

This kind of lazy writing really amounts to incompetence as far as satire goes. It’s one thing to make fun of or ridicule a public figure or a cause, but you have to actually know something about them or your potshots will simply be generic and meaningless. Never even mind, for a moment, that the cocky certainty about a blue wave is anywhere near as widespread as Stantis imagines, or his parroting the widespread misconception that “the polls have been wrong lately” (the truth is not so simple, and in fact most of the polling from 2016 was largely correct——see Nate Silver’s explanations for more insight). Just focus on his putting “Rachel Maddow” in Winslow’s mouth as an answer to Carmen. The act of inserting Maddow’s name into that punchline requires no actual insight, and only reveals Stantis’ unfamiliarity with Maddow and her brand of analysis. He quite clearly thought putting her name there would function well as a joke because liberal. That’s pretty much it. Because liberal.

Again, it’s lazy, and it’s pretty much incompetence at satire.
