I have at least 3x as much Irish heritage as she does Cherokee, and that’s not including anything they ‘fudged’ (parts of Central America) to count towards that number. Heck, even the Cherokee don’t want her!
Lore passed down in a friend of mines family also said that they had “Indian blood” in them. They did a DNA search and found no Indian ancestry, but did find African. The Jamaicans say “out of many one people” we would do ourselves a favor if we embraced that idea.
And let’s remember that having Native American genes in one’s DNA, as she accurately claimed, was never considered the same as direct lineage or tribal affiliation. That said, Warren never claimed or used Native American heritage to aid her career.
This is almost as riveting as the whole birth certificate fiasco and even less relevant to anything and everything. There are a number of reasons to dislike Elizabeth Warren or Donald Trump. Pick one that actually matters.
Trump dared her to prove it, she did, and he went back on his bet, because he is a liar. She was telling the truth, she had Native American blood in her.
It would be nice if human beings actually listened to each other. All she ever claimed was that there is a family story that somewhere in the past there was a Native American relative. I am tired of individuals and the media not including entire quotes and making mountains out of molehills.
Kelley, too, joins the ‘Cartoon Clown Brigade’ in focusing on an irrelevant topic … so many more important issues: #45’s “missing” ( and, perhaps, fraudulent ) tax returns … mistreatment of immigrant children … roll-backs of consumer fraud protection ….
This is a bold-faced LIE about what Elizabeth Warren ever said. She talked about a family story of a great-great-great ancestor having some Native American blood.
Oh, here we go again. Hillary Clinton (and the rest of us) has had to live through thirty years of relentless rehashing of everything she ever did wrong. Or, more accurately, didn’t do wrong. I suppose that as long as Prof. Warren is active in politics, and for ever after, she will be hounded by misrepresentations of her “native American heritage” and, if history is any guide, by much else that is proved to be false over and over.

Yes, let’s focus on this rather than the huge deficits created by the Republicans. Nothing to see here, move along.
