This is a great little story, but I’m a little bemused by which characters get a normal mouth, and which ones get Carol’s trademark toothy jaw. This story has a really mixed bag.
Even if there was, jumping off a roof wouldn’t help, because it wouldn’t be bad luck if it was deliberate.
Moral of the story……don’t try your “luck.” Luck, by definition, is uncontrollable.
Another excellent story that could have had the other ending which it did have in other universes when Carol Lay decided the other way.
He truly is a lucky man to have a girlfriend like that.
