It’s not looking good right now but I plan to withhold judgement. The F-111 looked rather less than stellar at first but it became a good warplane. The worst wrinkle in their plan was the F-111B Navy version. Blame that on Macnamara and his attempt to make one aircraft do two dissimilar jobs. That sounds similar to how this one was designed.

The space shuttles had the same problem because the military wanted them to do whatever it is the military thinks up. But it wound up low orbit because of whatever it was.

I hope they were able to fix the software glitches and the adhesive problems. It can be difficult when your computer crashes at 30,000 ft and the rain dissolves the glue holding the wings on. In the meantime the USAF wants to mothball the A-10.

Didn’t need this thing when you already had the F-22.

The first one is Jeff Bezos and the third one is Elon Musk. I don’t know the middle guy? Is it the guy from Apple? He looks like Roger Ebert.

Or you could just leave the planes in a shed in Florida to be damaged by the hurricane.

The important thing to remember is that no funding went to any welfare queens. Only to, you know, real Americans.
