And on a Saturday night, the dirty looks start about 7:15 !
Never go into a restaurant within 1 hour of closing…
Ha! So true. It’s like the opposite, you can’t be at the front door waiting for a store to open. A business day is bookended by dirty looks.
That means all the customers need to be out by 9 and the doors locked. The staff still has another hour of work to do.
When I worked in the hospitality industry, bar customers ( particularly ) never seemed to realize that the bartender and/or manager had a good hour – hour 1/2 of work to do,after the customers were gone !
If you come in anywhere less than fifteen minutes before a restaurant closes, you are the scum of the earth.
