There are four books in the New Testament and many passages in one book contradict passages in the others. The Old Testament, particularly Leviticus, is used by some zealots to condemn homosexuality while those same zealots ignore things they don’t like such as bans on blended fabrics and shellfish and beard and hair requirements. The ones that call for “traditional” marriage – exactly how many wives and concubines does this entail?
Doing a new version? It’s about time.. far too many issues in the current edition that are given a wink and a nod. Far too easy to find hypocrisy.. which has to be at least somewhat embarrassing..

Don’t worry; they’ll have you beating you wifes and your slaves again in no time.
