Sadly, I don’t think the Trump base is in revolt. Encouragingly, some thoughtful GOP and a lot of independents are having buyer remorse.
The Democrats are not experiencing a “revolt” so much as an insistence by the grassroots to take back their party. The central DNC could do worse than just get out of the way., offering assistance where needed and wanted.
It’s time to reject both the left and right extremists and turn to a real moderate course based on common sense and what is best for everyone and our future survival.
