Good morning Vagabonds.Guess what, it’s raining again. In fact it’s pouring.Temp is 60 but it is supposed to get colder later in the day.How long the rain will last, who knows.

Have to pick up a few items at the supermarket, go to the bank and then go home to read the paper.

Going to prayer meeting tonight. Hopefully the rain will have stopped by then.

    A good day to all.

    Howdy Vagabonds

I thought I heard rain last night at bed time, but this morning I was hearing the wind a blowing, thought it was January out there. There is a wind advisory posted on the Channel 3 website, however, it seems to have calmed down a bit.

Watching “The Beverly Hillbillies” this morning, Roy Clark was playing cousin Roy from Bugtussil, and he played “Orange Blossom Special” and later “Under the Double Eagle”. Love that kind of music. And yes, I watch “Hee Haw”.

Later, I think I’ll make a run to Newport for a few things.

May y’all have a wonerful day.

    Good Sunny morning, Vagabonds,

Well, we’ve got a great day to go a’travellin. There are a few stringy clouds, and it only got down to 31 during the night, and the Sun will be up real soon to warm things up.

The book sale is tomorrow, and we’ll spend the night at our hotel. Just another good excuse to have dinner at our favorite Chinese restaurant in Great Falls. The trees in the canyon should all be golden by now. They are the last ones to turn because they are protected from the freeze because of the canyon walls.

    xoxo Happy Trails.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, the only thing I regret about our trip is the timing. If we had waited just another 2 weeks, we would have been able to see the fall color most of the way home. Ah, well. Life goes on.

We are once again finding things don’t work perfectly all the time. First we discovered that the wall socket for the coaxial cable had been sabotaged. Someone shoved a wire in the center then cut it off flush. So I went out and invested in a $4 new one. Then the cable co did not give us a coaxial splitter that they were supposed to, so we can’t hook up both internet and TV at the same time yet. And even though we did hook up the TV, the cable box isn’t working properly. So we have a technician coming this morning to fix that (and maybe give us the missing splitter). Plus the gas company guy is coming out today to hook us up with heat. It didn’t get above 70 in that apartment all day yesterday.

I have prayer group this morning, so Michael will be there for the workers and I’ll join him later so we can finish putting that TV stand together. (It’s a big heavy piece of furniture, not just a flimsy little stand.)

Smokey is in love with that apartment. She’s literally bouncing off the walls because the floor is so slippery. She runs from one room to the other at top speed and then can’t stop. We bought her a cat tree and that was an immediate hit. She loves it! I don’t think she’s ever been in a space big enough for her to run like that before. She’s so much fun to watch.

70’s again today, although it got down to around 50 last night. I don’t envy Michael in the apartment with no heat! He slept there last night.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Had breakfast with the ladies of my Sunday School Class. We try and get together every Tuesday morning in an unhurried gathering just to talk about what is going on in our lives.

Jann, it seems that nothing ever runs smoothly when you are in the process of moving into a new place. I hope it all gets straighten out for you today. It sounds like Smoky is one happy kitty with extra running room and a new climbing tree. ;) LOL

Rita, enjoy your trip and the beautiful fall foliage. The majority of our leaves are still green but I am hoping to see them change soon.

Currently it is 51 out and the sun is shining . As much as I like the rain, I am very happy to see the sun.

    Everyone have a great day.
