Can you believe it, it’s already the ides of October!
We still have a temperature of 37 outside our door. They talked of rain this morning but our eves ain’t dripping, I did take a look at the weather app on my cell and there is rain over in up state NY and will probably be here in due time. Get that water table back up to where it belongs.

Yippee! We’re in for a heat wave! Supposed to get up to the 60’s for the next 10 days!!!!! We didn’t miss Fall after all.
Glad you got your garden all put away for the season, Arthur. It’s always a lot of work, but so worth the effort. Maybe you can send some of that wet stuff down to San Diego. Our kids sure can use it.
Well, it seems to be catchy. Nothing else is going on around here. Except I will pack for a short over night up to Great Falls for their book sale Wednesday. This is when we get to hit the stores we don’t have down here.
Well, we got a good start. Sorta. We moved the stuff we had in the car, and then went shopping. We found a TV stand at Wal-Mart that was on a clearance rack. It was the one we had already chosen, and it was marked down almost 50% off. Then we discovered we couldn’t fit the box in the car. So we unpacked the box and hauled just the pieces. It still just barely fit, plus we had the new TV in there, too. We had to push the passenger seat all the way forward, and the back of the seat all the way upright. I rode in that position back to the apartment, and felt like a pretzel. We got ‘er done, though. We didn’t get back to the apartment until about 6, so we got no packing done at the RV. So now our schedule is pushed back for at least a day, maybe two. Someone has to be at the apartment all day tomorrow to have the gas turned on, so we can’t move the RV because both of us need to be with the RV. So I guess we’ll move on Wednesday. Today we’re going back to put the TV stand together, set up the new TV and go over to the cable company and pick up our cable box and router. (We get cable and internet included with our rent.)
Whew! Smokey is going with us today so she can explore her new home. She’ll be such a big help putting together the TV stand.
The weather is continuing to be fall perfect around here – mid to high 70’s every day. It got a bit chillier last night, but blankets and winter PJ’s take care of that.
Woke up to another cold, damp day. It is currently 41 out with a hoped for high of 47. However it is supposed to get up to the 60’s later this week. I need to do some work in my backyard before winter comes, but it has just been to wet to do anything. Oh well maybe next week.

Another cold night with temp in 40’s and 50’s during the day.
Going to have heavy rain later in the evening for several hours.
Will it ever stop?
At least I got everything taken out of the garden.

Good afternoon Vagabonds.
