Curiously, the “God” here isn’t even God: he answers to a higher deity. It appears to be a really twisted form of Mormon theology, as distinct from the standard kind.
God created us flawless, but we threw that away in exchange for a chance to make our own decisions about what does and doesn’t work. We aren’t as good at that as God, so we keep messing up worse and worse, and God tries to save us from ourselves. So He’s not to blame.
I don’t get easily offended but this comic went way too far. I know it’s a cliche saying I’m no longer going to follow this comic and now the comments come to say bye. But seriously think about what this comic is saying

How we see or don’t see a “supreme maker” is our own belief. This representation is as valid as one I may have, whether it offends me or not.
