The ultra CONservative Federalist Society offered a list of numerous candidates that would have faced easy CONfirmation by a TrumpubliCON Senate. Overruling recommendations, Comrade TRUMPovich McPutinpuppet selected the most difficult to get approved for one reason: this royalist had written opinions claiming that any REPUBLICAN president is, king-like, above the law and immune from any criminal or civil investigation.

But since Kavanaugh was the top advisor to Ken Starr’s WITCH HUNT against Bill Clinton for oral sex with a consensual adult who actually wrote the main draft of the Starr report calling for Clinton’s impeachment, any idea that a president should not be investigated clearly does not apply if the president is a Democrat, as lead INVESTIGATOR Kavanaugh proved.

Oh and aside from the hypocritical double standard of leading the investigation of Clinton but writing that Bush or Trump are immune from the kinds of investigations he led, please spare me any hint that the Clinton thing was about “perjury” and not consensual oral sex since we now know that, in his 2004-06 confirmation (yes, Kavanaugh was so toxic it took TWO YEARS to confirm him to his current position), he LIED UNDER OATH (perjury) when he denied knowing anything about Bush torture policies, when later written documents proved he was central to the discussions on it (the perjury charge was referred to the Bush Justice Dept which unsurprisingly refused to prosecute their former staffer).

Kavananaugh’s checkered past makes me think of Nixon, but Trump’s much, much, worse. Checkers was a dog, Trump is what Checkers left on the sidewalk. AND, btw, it was NIXON who signed NEPA, Clean Air Act, and Clean Water Act, set the stage for EPA, and intended to CLEAN UP our messes, while Trump’s doing everything possible to reverse all the progress we’ve made since then. May Trump and all his appointees share a room with a 100% CO2 atmosphere for a few hours, with coal slurry to slack their thirst.

This doesn’t look good. Hopefully for Trump and his poor choice to cover his ass…or so he thinks. I pray the hearing for Kavanaugh can be stalled, postponed, held up…anything…long enough to get the Nov election over. The Repubs stalling technique worked for them with Merrick Garland, but somehow they can’t see the irony of what they’re trying to do now…“The party! the party!”. They are blinded by the thought of losing their status quo, to hell with the country! In the long run they stand to lose a lot more. Starting with the House…then their dignity! I think some of them already have.Who caught Kavanaugh turning his back on that father who lost his daughter in the Florida school shooting? Spoke volumes about how he thinks in part.

This Woodward book is going to be a killer/thriller! I’m putting my order in tomorrow!

The Rump is an illegitimate president because he cheated and stole the election. Therefor all his concurrent placements are illegitimate. (one can hope)

The way things are going, that will shortly be “confirmed” in both senses of the word.

Republican partisanship and changing of the rules in mid-stream have created an atmosphere of unfairness.

Republicans denied Garland and are rushing Kavanaugh while withholding evidence.

Combined with evil Trump getting a majority Supreme Court to back his amoral fascism there is more than a whiff of panic from anyone who loves the Republic.

There is a great deal of anger that will result in a blue tidal wave.

Actually, the panic and desperation seem to be coming out of the White House.

Once he’s in, neither will have to worry about the law anymore.

And I seem to remember the Conservative crackpots claiming that Obama was “A Wannabe Dictator!” …
