Seriously, folks — I’ve wondered if I could use one
of these toys to put a fishing line over the top of a
tall pine, then use the line to pull up a larger nylon
rope. Then use the rope to pull a copper wire up
there to make an antenna for my ham radio. Have
any of you commenters tried that?

And my daughter said those little things were useless!
We saw 2 pluggers playing with them at the flea market. They must have been practicing for this. :)

It’s a good way to get the kids to help decorate the tree, except Dad hogs it. The parents don’t have to tell the kids that Dad’s the Hog Father.
