The first Hitchcock movie I saw was The Man Who Knew Too Much, (Hitchcock’s remake). I saw it as a little kid living in Morocco in 1956. That the boy in the movie was kidnapped certainly got my attention.
Hitch is for the birds. Makes me psycho and falling-down dizzy when I watch his films, First he ropes you in and then he makes you feel you know too much. Just sends me into a frenzy. Then he makes me spellbound by pointing me to the back window where I see something notorious. At this rate, I know I’m headed for the family plot. Still and all, I wish he had let Tippi alone. He was a genius; I can celebrate that.

just one thing about the North by Northwest scene of Cary Grant being machine-gunned by a biplane…..
how the heck did the bullets rip into the dirt around Cary, barely missing him, when the airplane had already passed him?
