Reminds me of a scene from Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Some guy is sick and extremely groggy. Some woman says “Give him some chicken soup. What can it hurt?”. So a giant bowl of chicken soup is set before him. He nods off, drops his head into the soup, and drowns.
