If you call back and say OK you can also ask what time and where to meet.

One call and you can settle all of the details, like who is bringing the beer.

My wife and oldest daughter will get into one of these texting conversations trying to arrange a time and place for something and I finally get to the point of telling my wife to CALL her. By the time I can respond to one text (I am slow at it) I can call and discuss all the details, otherwise my daughter will have sent me two more texts about did I get the first one and what did I decide.

With “auto correct” it is verrrrrry hard to text. I once sent a message withour checking it, my friend thought I was drunk.

Absolutely, I’ve stopped the appointment confirmation texts from my doctor – because the reply function doesn’t work correctly. Since I’m trying to keep my blood pressure down – that is counter-productive when using texts to their office.

My other texts usually don’t need a reply – or I call them.

It’s also nicer to talk with a friend than texting. Long distance is another thing, tho.

Anyone texting me gets a phone call back. Period.
