I had to take trigonometry and calculus in college. I graduated in 1969. I have never used either type of math.
Sounds like me .
I am the opposite of a math prodigy.

Counting is not math.
Counting is the defining and recording of items or events.
Math is the use of data definitions to further define counted information and see if changes are due to take place.
Personally, all I know about math is that 2 + 2 = 22.
