It really IS too late to save many of the structures Donnie & Company have torn down, such as protections for the environment – we can only “rebuild” after we’ve tossed the destructors out on their ear! The Courts are another matter, altogether. Donnie has already appointed 1 out of 8 appellate court judges because of McConnell’s machinations blocking Obama’s picks from being confirmed – the American Court System is going to be “Very Conservative” for at least a generation because the so-called “intelligent electorate” couldn’t be bothered to vote for anyone who would stand up for social progress!
We WILL be marching back to the 1950s or even earlier, and there’s not a lot we can do about it now!
If we manage to retrieve the reins of government soon there are things we can do to slow the slide back to a time when, if you weren’t a “straight” white male Christian, you had no voice in government, but that IS THE DIRECTION in which we are heading, and you may thank all the idiots and morons who either DIDN’T vote at all, or thought the could vote for a third or fourth party candidate as a protest!
In America, we have ALWAYS BEEN an “Either/Or” political nation! If, at ANY TIME you vote for ANYONE other than a Republican OR a Democrat, the vote you cast is worse than useless, it is your way of tacitly approving whomever actually wins the election! So all those votes for third and fourth party candidates was actually a vote for Donnie!
