Bert and friend, you have met your match. You may not be ducks, but you sure do not look like chickens, lying on you backs with those big bills pointed skyward. Geese, maybe?
I put up 39 jars of jam today, Strawberry, raspberry and Marionberry and four with the leftovers for mixed berry. And with very little help, my SIL was supposed to help, but you know how that goes. And yes, I’m exhausted!
Good morning and happy Friday/TGIF to all my fellow Graham Crackers. We are off to mother-in-law’s for the weekend as she has central air and we do not have air conditioning. I don’t know about the rest of Canada, but it’s going to be stinky hot and humid here in Ontario for the long holiday weekend.
The other thought about the birds is that they also (to me) look like Seagulls with those beaks, so I’ve gone down the route of cats with seagulls and as I couldn’t find many of them I’ve ended with annoyed looking ginger cats :-)

I was thinking ducks, but Ches referred to them as pullets, and they do have that little comb on top. But chickens can be smarter than these two.
