Huzzah! I’m thrilled to learn that The Middle Age has been nominated in the 2018 Ringo Awards for “Best Webcomic.” These awards are named after comic book artist Mike Wieringo. Mike and I met a few times and often corresponded. He was always supportive of my clumsy work and his encouragement of some particularly cartoony character designs led directly to the look of our hero, Sir Quimp. I’m humbled and honored with this nomination. If you’re not familiar with Mike’s work, you should check it out. Lovely drawing, lively action and expressive acting. He is missed.
