    Good morning Vagabonds.

Had a big T storm in middle of the night with plenty of thunder and lightning but my area didn’t get much rain.Just a lot of noise.Today the temp is only going to be in the low 70’s. Looks like the heat wave is broken for today, then temps go back up into the 80’s.

Somewhat of a busy day with both of us going to the Chiropractor this morning at ten thirty, then home for lunch, then Barbara goes to see the Cardiologist at two p.m. and then when we come home from there, I will be going out to do some food shopping.

Too wet to do anything in the yard.

Hope all have a good day. Peace to you.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Yesterday we went to the “Wilderness” Battleground. It is the third in the Chancellorsville & Spotsylvania National Military Park. We stopped at Wal-Mart and picked up a small CD player that connects to the car’s sound system and then at the visitor’s center to get the driving tour CD. It made an enormous difference in how we were able to view the battlefield. We got lot of tidbits of information including the fact that Lee, JEB Stuart and Longstreet were meeting in a field to discuss tactics with no soldiers around them when Union soldiers burst out of the nearby woods. Lee took off to find some infantry, Longstreet jumped to his feet to fight and Stuart just sat there and didn’t move. The Union soldiers got confused and returned to the woods and left behind a chance to capture the 3 most important leaders in the Confederate army. This was in early May of 1864, and would have ended the war just that much sooner.

Today we will try the final battlefield of the four, Spotsylvania. The weather looks good for it too, around 90 and partly cloudy.

Rita, I didn’t see your post about your birthday until this morning, so happy belated birthday. I hope you and Jack had a wonderful day.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good Warm afternoon, Vagabonds,

Just got back from a lovely luncheon (potluck style) with my Cancer Support group. Lots of love, hugs and laughter and fantastic food! A big consensus of the group was how lucky we all are! And really thank God for changing our lives through cancer.

Did anyone have trouble getting on GoComics today. About 6 hours ago nothing came up other then a line about their server wasn’t available or something. Oh well. It’s working now.

    xoxo Happy Trails
