A retriever is a “soft mouthed” dog and wouldn’t crush the duck.
Yep. Retrievers were specifically bred to have “soft mouths”, so they didn’t ruin the feathers of the fowl. Check YouTube; there’s a video of a Goldie holding a raw egg, without crushing it.
I’m just surprised that Poncho didn’t turn him in to get half of the reward.
The only doctor that duck needs is a plastic surgeon.
