Wait til the roaches infest the House in January, they will continue to work in the dark and flee the light of day, same as they’ve been doing for a long time.
All I know is that if those who were voted in don’t fix what’s wrong, they’ll be sharing the unemployment line with the rest of those who are out of work in 2013. Regardless of party, it’s time our representatives actually represent us. And while you guys on here may have a leftist/liberal bent, you represent ~22% of the populace in the country. You are in the minority, any way you slice it.
Wraith…I’ve seen estimates far less than 22% for left/liberals in America….
most of the 2008 voters for Obama must have been Duped
and Fooled…..and who knows how many FRAUD VOTES were counted????
the MSM did a good job of Covering Up for Obama’s real politics and agenda…..while doing all possible to “diss” McCain.
I want a large new sign above the Speaker’s desk in the House……”Servants of the Citizen-Voters”…..to point the way back to proper behaviour of the “Ins”….the Elected.
The whole “big government” thing doesn’t go away regardless of who is in power. It’s just a matter of who’s spending more time in your bedroom because they both control your wallet.
dt, like most of his clan, makes up his “facts” as he goes along, or pulls them out of Beck or Rush, like the NEXT step from TSA, which got all the current authority AND contracts for devices from, wait for it——-BUSH!! (though I’m sure Dick and Rummy are getting a cut.)
The voters in 2008 had a big group that refused to vote in 2010. Unless Obama improves his performance over the next 2 years, they will still stay away from the polls.
The moderates are the only ones that will probably gain ground in 2012.
@ SBW: Where are your facts? There are exit polls showing that only 20% percent identified themselves as liberal, 35% as moderate , and 42% that are solidly conservative. Says me? No. Says Gallup:
Get your head out of your bleeep and recognize that just because you say it is so doesn’t make it so.
Many people voted for Obama because they were angry at Bush’s policies. It’s not that conservatives were suddenly liberal, it’s that moderates were sick of the spending and partisanship, and wanted to see the problem fixed. Unfortunately, many moderates now have buyer’s remorse and are trying to fix that. That’s why we had a drastic 61 house-seat swing in a single election. And that’s why we’ll have more incumbants fired if they don’t fix what’s broken in Washington.
Oh, and to counter your “only because dems didn’t get out and vote” comment, I don’t see that making up the (in many cases) double-digit percentage gaps in house races. Verify your facts before you go confirming what we believe about you.
Actually 63 new repubs as of today. But they better behave themselves or else it may swing the other way next time. If Prez Obama is smart he will do what Prez Clinton did. Move to the center if he wants to be a 2 term prez. And for all you Bush haters he was right center. The Prescription bill and Child left behind were democratic ideas. He was no way a hard right Prez.
