Home schooling , for the most part, doesn’t prepare kids for the REAL world.

By the very nature of home schooling, it is impossible to rate it as either superior or inferior to public school. “Home” schooling ranges everywhere from a person who considers it the main objective to be considered that day, plans well for each child individually, has studied enough to know something about education works, and spends hours on it to the individual who says the child is being home schooled because it’s too much trouble to get out of bed and get them to public school. To further complicate the comparison, there are public schools that are outstanding and others that are pretty awful. The question is whether you have a right to do whatever you want to a child simply because it’s your child, or if a home schooled kid should have to pass the same tests that public school kids do.

Devos, per Wikipedia, “was educated at the Holland Christian High School, a private school located in her home town of Holland, Michigan.22 She graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business economics in 1979.” I’ll bet her education was better than most kids get in public school systems.

Maybe the point of the cartoon is that public school teachers – like the one in the cartoon – often don’t know what they are talking about. Or maybe it’s the cartoonist…

That entire class couldn’t do as much damage as one Trump administration member does.

I see all the teachers’ union members are busy reading the funnies and making silly instead of working. Nothing new there.
