I have a friend who ended up with a serious cut on her foot after tamping down the garbage. This was before recycling so it was probably a tin can that cut her. I don’t think anything in her garbage can could hurt me today but the kitty litter under my foot?
let’s see… the banana peels and like material go in the compost. Cardboard, metal cans,glass and plastic in the recycle bin. Doesn’t leave much for the trash man.

My cousin does that too so he can get an extra day (but it’s the garbage can, not the wastebasket). After that, it’s into the garbage cart.
