McCain may be getting senile. What the h#ck has happened to this man who used to have some degree of integrity. I read his recent statements about DADT. First, he wants a study to determine what the study should be, then he wants a study to determine if the study was what Congress wanted, then he wants Congressional hearings to determine if the study was worth studying. Seeing Cindi McCain capitulate to his mind contortions was sad indeed.

The Mrs. gave a speech or was part of a TV commercial or something in which she voices her support for LBGT young people. (I apologize if I got those letters in the wrong order.) Later, there was some announcement that Senator and Mrs. are in agreement on the issue.

I don’t know what Megan has to do with it though.

^^His constituents might have something to do with his position on DADT.

^ The small <20% of Americans who think that our military forces should be actively discriminated against while they’re out protecting those people’s freedoms to actively discriminate against them.

Meghan is 100% in support of equal rights, hence the banana peel. I don’t know why Cindy did such an about-face on the issue, though. She even calls it a right-wing issue, since, y’know, it’s a matter of smaller government. Too bad the other “small government” people disagree.

Anna, Megan has spoken out against DADT over and over again. Also for gay rights, including gay marriage. It’s interesting that Senator McCain doesn’t seem to be able to acknowledge the fact that Megan has absorbed his former – and publicly stated – beliefs, while he ‘s flipped on them so often it’s a wonder he can keep himself from spinning off into deep space.

How does McCain go from “straight talk” express to a pandering simp in such a short time. Looks like the earlier McCain was just another facade.

As yet another evangelical mega-church mega-fraud announces he’s gay, reading Exodus and the orders to build the ark and the tabernacle bring another thought: Is “God” making all those demands a gay interior designer with OCD? All those drapes, all that gold, all that shittum wood- really, really, “gay” dude!

Or was Moses just the first Bernie Madoff building not pyramids but his own bank account with all the people’s contributions?

If you look into his history, the one consistent fact about McCain is his ruthless support of Number One. And his “maverick” stance is often calculated to draw support he can’t get by toeing the party line…sad, really.

His predecessor in that particular Senate seat, Barry Goldwater was foursquare in favor of allowing gays in the military…and didn’t give an F-word what the Christian Right thought.

The Daily Show did a number on McCain, and I don’t think he agrees with his wife.
