I believe cats practice isometrics while sitting or sleeping, their two favorite ‘activities’, but need the occasional stretch for good blood flow and flexibility just before pouncing on some unaware toy.
My Ridgeback was my trainer, if I got off my bike before all the songs were done on the tape she’d bark till I got back up on the bike. Same with my weight workouts…it was like she counted with me. LOL
