A very interesting non-reaction today, wouldn’t you say Mr. Jones? It would seem that to most of the “regulars” who comment here, tragedies of the scope and magnitude of what has occurred to so many young gymnasts doesn’t provide the kind of red meat they are looking for. A depressing sign of our times.
What bothers me is that they couldn’t have gotten away with it for that long without the complicity of many others who were reported to and did nothing. Start hunting them down and bringing them to justice. Then we shall talk.
From Clay Jones’ blog: “From Hollywood moguls threatening the careers of actresses who refuse to be seduced by a massage, to the guy giving the State of the Union speech Tuesday night who bragged on tape “they let you do it when you’re a star,” I’ve been disgusted by the sick acts of sick individuals with power. Having it done to children, and the the children told by authority that it has to be done, is a brand-new outrage. I hope every name who allowed this to happen is produced and publicized.”
