    In golf the term “winter rules” is used to allow golfers to improve the lie of the ball before playing their next stroke. During the winter the grass or ground may be sparse or otherwise not ideal for executing the golf shot.

    What Arlo did there would be “Lift, clean and replace” an otherwise . Not the same thing.
