I once treated a performance eval like Arlo did.. didnt last long. Later I found a job where I apparently became indispensable given the work load. I treated that performance eval like Alice from Dilbert did; dilbert com/strip/2014-03-22
Still with the company after all these years and that same boss tells me to write my own review, mix some jargon in, and slap a bow tie on it.
