Inventions haven’t been the same since they stopped using cast iron soil pipe, assembling clocks with gears, and making wooden crates and tubs. There aren’t enough people from the skilled trades to make things with fit and finish to keep them from falling apart during testing.
Mutt and Jeff aren’t very observant. It boils water, tells time, probably churns butter, and serves as a shoe rack and warmer. No home should be without one.
