We used to have a dog my nephew rescued from a fight ring when she was 10 weeks old. A pit-boxer mix, she looked as if she could tear you to shreds; she was a gentle as a lamb toward woman and children, but did not like men. A delivery man came one day when Hubby was outside, and the fellow admired our home, but asked Hubby is he wasn’t worried about security. “We have a great system already. Brinks.”
“Is it effective?”
“Tap on the window.”
Brinks came roaring up, put her paws on the sill and barked so loudly the window rattled. The delivery man levitated backwards three feet, and hopped into his truck.
This is cute. But as a long time bulldog owner I can tell you that they are not good watch dogs. No matter how big and mean they may look, they are just over grown babies.
