He believes if he repeats it often enough, then it will become the truth according to Trump. That should be the proof of insanity.
Donald John Trump actually would be the personification of Richard Milhous Nixon if you removed ALL political prowess and acumen, any concept of history and the consequences of repeating it and mixed in a massive amount of puffed-up self importance and a truly impressive inability to accept responsibility for ANY of his actions – Nixon stands in lonely grandeur as the epitome of a statesman when compared to Donnie!
By the way, does anyone remember the “Palace Guard” uniforms Tricky Dick wanted to dress the White House security detail in, at one time? The design could be resurrected as the ‘dress uniform’ of Donnie’s proposed “Secret Police!” The uniforms were quite stylish in a “Mack Sennett – Keystone Cops” kind of way. 1970s America laughed so uproariously when presented with the idea that Dick immediately dropped the whole idea, but, ya know, we now have a president with NO intelligence, NO political acumen, NO fashion sense, and NO sense of shame, so those uniforms just might “fly” this time around! At the very least, they would distract us from the pitiful creature occupying the Oval Office. I never thought I would catch me saying this, but Donnie makes me long for the days of President Nixon! Evil I could handle, the toxic mix of Stupidity and Evil is just too great a reach!
My dad was in business with Tricky Dick’s brother for a while, and we knew the family. Don was a pretty decent guy, Richard was indeed a minor crook, and vain indeed, but not have as nuts, or narcissistic as Trump, and nowhere NEAR as big a crook.
Bush and Cheney WERE scum who at least attacked foreign lands. Trumpco is actually out to destroy the U.S., lands, middle class, resources, and morals.
I don’t know if I should think of Zeus with Athena or Quato and his host, or Leela and her Boyle. Very troubling. Although if a Rushmore like monument to Trump is ever considered, this cartoon a good design.
