Quite a convoluted concluding sentence, but it works

If it’s “occurring” in the sense of “happening”, then it probably is a revelation from the Janitorial Prophet Frazz whose words are a gift given randomly—a little like finding you had stepped in someone’s discarded gum!

Any bicyclist of a certain era, which I think means any cyclist alive right now, knows and understands (often willingly) Keith Bontrager’s quote about equipment:

    “Strong. Light. Cheap. Pick two.”

I think there’s a corollary for other fields, including many of my own, that, even with the caveat of the deadline-oriented creator, I grudgingly admit probably holds true:

    “Fast. Well. Pick one.”

And I guess if I really want to grudgingly accept a painfully true tenet, I’ll have to throw in:

“Plan. Reckon the fast/well tenet. Pick one.”

Oh, man, it burns even to type it.

    Reminds me of:

“Do you want it done fast or done right? Pick one.

I thought it was “on time, on budget or works…pick two”

In the building trades, it’s good, fast, cheap, pick two.
