I’m bookmarking this for the next time someone calls out Jaimes for the crime of making a typo.

AH! The age of innocence, when children were allowed to be children and said the darnedest things!

Did Dennis the Menace take tips from Nancy? (He frequently used this particular type of gag.)

Love it when they leave the ORIGINAL date as part of the strip! The most fun part about Mutt and Jeff is trying to guess what year is being referenced. Then the lesser lights who make big decisions pull a bone-headed move, like adding an unlikely name to the supposed conversation. The other day, on Mutt and Jeff, they had Jeff trying to sell a woman a fish for 17 CENTS per pound! Jeff asked her if she was waiting until the fish looked like Brad Pitt before deciding that it looked good enough to buy. I think it would be safe to say that Brad Pitt’s GRANDFATHER had not been born yet – back in the day when people could sell fish for 17 CENTS per pound! Nancy classics were more fun when the original publication date was included as part of the strip! Hopefully, the lesser lights who make big decisions will decide to resume the practice of including the original publication date of Nancy Classic strips.

Why would she have a calendar from 10 years ago when she isn’t even Ben that old?
