“The election is two weeks away, but the campaign trail reviews of Sarah Palin already are in, and they aren’t pretty.

According to multiple Republican campaign sources, the former Alaska governor wreaks havoc on campaign logistics and planning. She offers little notice about her availability, refuses to do certain events, is obsessive about press coverage and sometimes backs out with as little lead time as she gave in the first place.”

And politico is a right-leaning outfit; they’ve printed some HEAVY criticism of President Obama in the past

    @Rad ish

Your rant is like a 1984 script lengthened. Two gay women across the street from me are UNDECIDED on the election. A prison guard is voting Republican?

Being crazy and voing Republican is not just for the 2% of the population that actually benefits.

All politics has become like fingernails, but Palin has competition for lowest common denominator- thanks much, TEA party! That she is for American principals, the Saddam Hussein from Alaska (minus the brain, but not the gun) is well, sad.

^You wish. More like laugh in contempt. After all, she’s so afraid of being caught out that she’s abandoned every position of public responsibility she’s ever had, instead choosing to take money from gullible people who think she has anything thoughtful to say.

    Well y’see Howdy, it’s like this…..

Not a single one of even the nastiest anti-Palin posts on this site come close to the level of vitriol directed at Obama, Pelosi, etc. by you and the rest of the conservatives

So, if what you’re saying is true, and us libs are responding to half-Governor Palin the way we are because we’re afraid of her, then by that very same logic, the conservatives are absolutely TERRIFIED by Obama and the rest of the Dems.

Having met her, I find her delightful. I’m sure Pelosi is delightful too. Much of our hatred for either lies in their politics. Personal attacks on either serve no purpose. Both are feared. I would guess that Palin’s so-called unrealistic fantasy is to avoid what the French and Greeks have constructed for themselves. I have no desire to be like them.

I’ve met a lot of “delightful” folks, that I wouldn’t let have the keys to my car, let alone my country. BTW- it’s also NOT “hate” to point out the fallacies or outright idiocies of public figures, or to make fun of their “idiot-synchronies”. Now when considering that some of them are more than willing to start wars that kill hundreds of thousands of people, or more; it is wisdom, not hate, that brings a more serious mood to the critique.

Anyone here remember ‘Bo’ Gritz? ( Rhymes with ‘Sights’ )

He was a militia leader from back during the Clinton era, and a frequent guest on local talk radio when I lived in Arizona.

Bo was the most congenial guy you might ever want to listen to, witty, charming, and very intelligent, always making reasonable arguments. No one who heard the Gritz interviews would have ever called him anything but, ‘delightful’

Then, after I moved, one of the local stations here played a tape that had been made secretly of Mr. Gritz speaking at one of his militia rallies….an event that was for the the faithful only.

And what I heard was five minutes of the most hate-filled, angry screed that I have ever been subjected to.

So, when I hear that Sarah Palin is ‘delightful’ in public, when speaking to to one of her supporters, I am not suitably impressed.

In private, according to the article I posted above at least, there’s two words that best describe her:

    ‘Your’

    and

    ‘Majesty’
