Again I say: I am young, I have not read these before, so PLEASE stop with the spoilers!!! Have the courtesy to let me enjoy watching the whole thing unfold the way you did.
What grade is Michael supposed to be in?
It seems to me that he was in 2nd or 3rd grade just a bit ago, and now it looks like Jr Hi.
Lizzy is still talking baby talk, and Michael’s ready to start hitting on girls? I didn’t think there was that much of an age gap between them.
He is in early elementary school. And early elementary is when kids still have harmless crushes, then they go through the “ick, cooties!” stage, then they move on to hormonal-induced crushing. In other words, his crush on Deanna is very much age-appropriate.
Not for nothin, but if you haven’t read all these from the beginning, it’s going to take a minute-there’s 20+ years of daily comics!! I for one appreciate it cuz then I know what to look for/who name and faces to put together from modern ones compared to these throwbacks!
Poor Michael! You just know that he’s probably wishing right about now that the earth would just open up and swallow him whole rather than stand there in front of Deanna and face her for one more minute!
Has there ever been a kid who didn’t have embarrassing moments no thanks to their “friends”?!?!?
Liz appears to be2-3 and Michael is 7-8. I didn’t read this comic from its beginning. I started when they were a couple years older. I don’t remember Deanna till much later when they were essentially grown-up and had lost touch. Do any of you remember these strips or is Lynn adding some?
