Tell you what, you disgusting slug…send YOUR spawn to fight and die to protect the profits of international corporations, and THEN you can say something. Until then, SHUT THE HELL UP, you fat bastard!
On a note about gutting the EPA, pollution is now killing one in six people prematurely every year. So those rich people better hurry up and build themselves an environmental Dome to live in while they’re killing the rest of us with the pollution from their Industries. I read a nice quote from somewhere, I don’t know who to credit the quote to but I like it. I think it’s pertinent. “You can make all the money in the world, but what good is it if you don’t have a world to spend it in?”
Pertinent to Trump and his respecting our fallen military, it seems General Kelly is now totally on board with him. General Kelly had a press conference that totally stood up for whatever Trump’s policy is towards our fallen soldiers and their families.. am I disappointed??? In this attitude from a Marine ??
SFCGATOR, WOW that is a stretch. Have you ever listened to Trump actually speak? When has he EVER been respectful unless he is reading from a script.
.Trump NEVER mentioned the soldier by name which shows his lack of respect. Trump brought the politics into the situation when he tried to deflect the criticism about his lack of a response by LYING that Obama and Bush didn’t call or write letters. Trump’s claims about his own actions are false as many military families have said he has done NOTHING.
.YOU are the one who is “hate-filled”, not the left. Objecting to a creep like Trump is a NORMAL thing to do.
I respect the flag, and those kneeling to draw atttention to the fact this nation can, and must, do better.
On the other component of “what we signed up for”. I"m a disabled vet from ‘Nam, my son is a disabled vet from Bush’s wars. I went in thinking along the lines of what Patton said: “It is NOT your job to die for your country. YOUR job is to see to it the OTHER POOR BASTARD DIES FOR HIS!” That’s actually what we signed up for, if it had to come to that. NObody joins on the assumption we’re coming home in body bags. That statement coming from the Chickenhawk in Chief, was an insult to all who ever served.
@SFCGaTor, I am a combat veteran who almost got killed in combat in Vietnam (a rocket just missed the mortar round I was loading into the tube), and, yes, I did know what I was signing up for.
Trump, with his total lack of understanding of the Armed Forces, what they are, what they do and what they don’t do, and his total lack of either empathy or sympathy, should have, AT THE VERY LEAST, added (as he was advised to) that any serviceman or servicewoman who dies while serving his or her country will be greatly missed and should be honored for their dedication and sacrifice.
I am still in contact with other combat vets and they all agree with me that this thing currently staining the presidency, and this country’s honor, is a disgrace to the human race and will cause more suffering and loss while disparaging most of the people in this country, even those who voted for him.
They sign up to serve their country, to fight for the freedoms that some of us disrespect – like little Donnie the Dotard – and they do know the risk. And they still go. This is why we should honor their service and, yes, their sacrifice. Trump does not know the meaning of honor and service.
Actually Donnie tRump has never said anything that I could have any respect for. He is the most reprehensible excuse for a President and/or human being that I can imagine.
Coming from a career military family, my dad served in two Wars. I feel very blessed that he did not come home in a body bag. But I can tell you this ….for every service man who goes across and does not come home, there should be nothing but grief and honor. For every vet who comes home injured, in any way, there should be honor and gratitude for their sacrifice. Trump doesn’t understand. He called McCain a loser because McCain was captured and spent five years in A POW Camp. I don’t have any respect for a man who professes that anyone who gets captured is not a hero but a loser instead. And that’s what Trump professed to believe during his campaign. Do not tell me that this man has any empathy for the widows of Fallen Soldiers.

You shouldn’t kneel for black people shot down in the streets by cops, because that is what they signed up for.

The flag does not solely represent the people that fought and died for our country
