CHEV.JAMES: A person who endlessly repeats an action expecting to see a different result is a dunce; and, war happens when diplomacy fails.
We’ve been trying diplomacy since Jimmy Carter gave Iran to the Mullahs in 1979. It failed almost immediately with the Marine Barracks bombing in 1983. It has continued for nearly 40 years with no change. Diplomacy is well demonstrated to fail every time it is tried with Iran. (Much the same can be said about NorK.) Advocating it at this time seems to be a forlorn hope of somebody who cannot face reality.It APPEARS that this means war is next on the agenda. And, indeed, we have been defending in a war against Iran since 1970. Maybe the logical action is to recognize we are at war and do something in response that is more serious than mere sanctions which hurt only the people and not the well shielded leaders.{^_^}

Yeah, one of them diplomatic solutions would be just great — except the best negotiator in the history of mankind is incapable of negotiation.
His diplomatic/negotiating skills have been on full display in the North Korea situation.
He has none. NONE! Zero.
.
His ’negotiation technique is to bully people to get what he wants. When he cannot bully a country, he has NO other ability.
Now, he wants to increase our nuclear capability by eight or ten times, or whatever it is, because he believes that will somehow give him more strength or leverage or something, basically being in a position to bully other countries.
Does he seriously believe we need more nukes in case we use all of ours up?
Trump Disciples still believe he is a great negotiator. As if.
@misterdantes…I agree you are largely correct about how US meddling led to where we are with Iran. From the overthrow of Mossadegh to prevent nationalization of the oil being pumped by British Petroleum and others, to the role in the Shah’s regime, the US meddled, interfered and provoked.
Now, however, it is a different era and the nuclear deal with Iran is in everyone’s interest, including Iran and Israel.
The Iranians have a very good argument for their concerns about trusting the US agreements. They are familiar with the number of treaties the US honored with the Native American tribes, like, well, none of ’em.

EVERY viable source says they’re in compliance, even Trump’s advisors, but righties still can’t get over the fact the Shah got kicked out.

Any deal that was not done by the Rump himself is a bad deal.

Is Ramirez on speed dial from the White House? Trump tweets something and Ramirez starts drawing a supportive cartoon. What a lap dog.

speaking of lap dogs: how about the empty suit and ketchup man delivering pallets of cash to a known terrorist sponsor?

The trump knows they are in compliance.. but agreeing with that means agreeing with something that has Obama’s name on it.. and that.. can not stand.
