Ivana and Donald divorced in 1992 following his tabloid affair with Marla Maples. She calls the White House every few weeks. Melania has previously claimed she has a “thick skin” but Ivana comments have clearly hit a nerve.
Republicans have presented the American people with many “amazing, new innovations” over the past few years, but the concept of First Lady and Third Lady in the White House (if Ivana ever visits, that is, and, who knows, she might need to pick up her alimony check some day considering Donnie’s miserable history of paying his bills!)is reaching new heights (or lows, depending on one’s viewpoint!) Donnie continues to prove that he has the “common” touch – I suspect we’ll be seeing special White House crews moving abandoned washing machines and ‘salvaged’ autos off the South Lawn to make room for the Easter Egg festivities! (kept there, most of the year to make his his “constituency” feel at home!)
I would ask “Can it get any worse?” but that is one of those questions you NEVERNEVERNEVER ask because you’ll inevitably find out. This is humiliating in such a shabby, tasteless way. Trumpism at its best.
