Is TCR actually a real thing cause that would be cool

Nate is really dedicated to being in character for halloween. With popeye’s left eyes being closed and his arms being changed and all that. Hopefully he gets lots of candy… XD

Agh, Bunker Hill. We were playing History Jeopardy, my team comes all the way back from last, the question was “Date of Bunker Hill”, would have tied us for second, on a guess I say “June 19th, 1775”. I was two days off.

Remember just who’s dad is the yearly measuring stick for “candy lame-ness”.

Nate has selective memory; he only remembers stuff that is important to him (but often not actually important) while Francis remembers all information related to school and lots of trivia from The Book of Facts (Nate and Francis are disparate in their memorization style).

Nate’s response in the last panel may just be my new mantra when somebody asks me for the umpteenth time “Do you remember if I told you (a story he’s told me umpteen times).” :-D

Nate should be dressed like Sherlock Holmes. That was his mantra That the brain did not have elastic walls and should only contain info that was important to you.

This from a 6th grader so he remembers every house since he was in 1st grade and some since he was a kindergartner.

Didn’t like nobody really win or lose it though? The Americans were chased off so it was a British victory, but the British suffered major soldier losses… the American Revolution is so confusing…

The battle of bunker hill technically was won by the British but they had way more casualties than the Americans

In retrospect, historians are still arguing who won the battle of bunker hill. Some say the Britain, because Americans retreated, while others say Americans, because they killed more British people

The Redcoats won the battle of Bunker Hill when Colonel William Prescott of the Continental Army ran out of ammunition halfway through. Still, the British Army lost more men in the battle than any other battle in the Revolutionary War. It was more a moral victory for the Americans, and allowed them to recruit more of the colonists to their cause.
